I am looking for a movie that was probably released in the late 80s early 90s. All I can remember of the movie was that in the beginning someone was trapped in a crate and drowned in the ocean or sea or something and then an investigator shows up but there were plot twists in the movie and towards the end the detective gets trapped in the crate and they attempt to kill him by rolling him in the water as well. He ends up escaping and then when he gets out of the water the pieces of the puzzle start to come together and all the plot twists start to unravel. I apologize for being vague but I was young when I saw it. I also remember that when he escapes he is peering in through a window and the woman he was helping I think was having an affair with one of the murderers possibly....Any help would be appreciated!

Crime Drama/Prison Flick ID?

I watched a good amount of a crime/prison flick the other night on HBO and never got the name or finished it.

It was for the most part about a young Hispanic man and close friend (possibly not Hispanic) going from juvenile detention to real prison together, and their drug business behind bars. Or at least thats all i saw. I came in right before a rape scene in the juvenile detention part where the central dude stabbed and killed his attacker. (landing him his prison sentence i believe.) Then the film jumped years ahead to their stay in an actual (what looked like) Californian state prison. Also i remember his close friend having a fake leg.
(and bald head if it helps)

Only known actor i think i can recognize from it was Andy Garcia and he was NOT THE STAR or even an associate of the central character. I just swear i remember seeing his face briefly bout halfway through. Serving some other big important drug dude.

eventually the two do leave prison and get to experience life outside after many years. Thats as far as i got..

any ideas?

Hobo with a Shotgun might just be the best movie title of all time, and this footage delivers just that and so much more, like flaming school buses, gangsters wielding machetes, a whole lot of blood and most importantly, Rutger Hauer shooting a lot of stuff. Hobo with a Shotgun is the second film being made based on a faux trailer from Grindhouse, with Machete set to be released this year. According to Quiet Earth, Jason Eisener�s hobo opus follows Hauer�s character, a homeless man who �goes about bringing justice to the city the best way he knows how-with a 20-gauge shotgun.� Panhandling will never be the same.

Here�s the synopsis:

A vigilante homeless man pulls into a new city and finds himself trapped in urban chaos, a city where crime rules and where the city�s crime boss reigns. Seeing an urban landscape filled with armed robbers, corrupt cops, abused prostitutes and even a pedophile Santa, the Hobo goes about bringing justice to the city the best way he knows how � with a 20-gauge shotgun. Mayhem ensues when he tries to make things better for the future generation. Street justice will indeed prevail.

Wife whining again about me being on the net too much.

I went home from work and she put the PC away.

I am posting this from work.

My friend suggested to tell her to stop whining or move out and I will keep the house and kids and she will be back on her own again!!

She even suggested I should move out and separate for a while.

The Film

In September 2006, theatre director and part-time banjo player Josh Fox received an unexpected letter in the mail: a natural gas company offering him $100 000 for permission to explore his family�s upstate New York property, in the lush Delaware River Basin area.
Rather than join many of his neighbours in signing on the dotted line, Josh�s curiosity saw him asking questions. He soon discovered that in the race for �cleaner�, greener & more efficient energy sources, the largest natural gas drilling boom in history is sweeping the globe, and in the US, the Halliburton-led drilling technology of hydraulic fracturing (or �fracking�) has unlocked a �Saudi Arabia of natural gas�.

I'm wondering the source of the weird voice we hear in some movie trailers, the voice saying "this summer", "prepare for action", "they are back", "Arnold Schwarzenegger", etc...

I think these are generated by a computer program but by which one? :whistle:

i cant remember distinctly but it was animated im pretty sure.. and it was like two birds and an old lady or somethin...there was like magic spray or something like that and i think a boy..it doesnt sound too good but its in my head lol i cant describe it too good :/
i really wanna remember the name...does anyone know??
